Go-to NOLA restaurants for takeout and delivery

Fastfood takeout

New Orleans residents will be slowly allowed outside their respective homes after Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards announced the lifting of stay-at-home orders after May 15. However, they will be ushered into a new normal where social distancing measures will still be in place due to the ongoing COVID-19 threat.

One sector that will benefit from this update is the local restaurant industry. Apart from being able to provide pickup/takeout and delivery services, outdoor seating will also be allowed, provided that social distancing is still observed.

The following restaurants featured here were listed among NOLA.Eater.com’s “essential restaurants” as of January 2020. They continue to serve the area with amazing food even while the pandemic rages on via curbside pickup, takeout, or delivery.
